Although sea turtle nests can be discovered on many Broward County beaches, Hillsboro Beach is proud to have one of the greatest densities of sea turtle nests per mile on the East Coast of Florida. Check visit the Hillsboro Lighthouse on the peninsula's southern end for more beach fun. Since its inception in 1907, the 138-foot tall lighthouse has served as a beacon of light for the community.
Fort Lauderdale is only approximately 20 miles south, while Boca Raton is only about 16 miles north. This upscale village is a peaceful and lovely place to call home.
