A vibrant island town
A causeway connects the small, picturesque town of Bay Harbor Islands to the Miami mainland. There are plenty of wonderful retail and good dining options along a beautifully manicured concourse in the heart of town, as well as two public art sculptures — Romero Brito's "Heart" and Robert Indiana's "Love."
Bay Harbor is made up of two islands: the 105-acre East Island, which has multi-family housing and a small business district with a wide range of products and services for inhabitants, and the 103-acre West Island, which has single-family dwellings. Bay Harbor Islands is home to the Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center, as well as shopping, great dining, a tot-lot playground, tennis courts, and two beautiful parks. Biscayne Bay separates the island from the mainland.
The most spectacular water views of the bay, the air of relaxation that Florida sunshine and breezes provide, and the twinkling lights of the Miami skyline at night are all available to residents of Bay Harbor Islands.
